NBA...

The NBA started it's "season" on Christmas Day this year thanks to the lock out by owners which resulted in games lost and the late start to the season. So basically what do the fans do in response? They fill the stands on day one of the shortened season as if nothing happened. That is the shame. Good job fans!! You've just assured yourselves yet another boring lockout the next time the contract expires. If you really loved your sport, you would stay away for a while, watch at home if you absolutely have to, and send the message to these spoiled brats (owners and players), that we are organize, we have social media after all and we will not stand for the total disrespect paid to fan without which there is no demand for your product. Way to go. I mean come on, do you really need to see the first 3, 5, 20 games of a 66 game season? If they had opened their arenas to empty seats they may have gotten the message, a lesson may have been learned by those too far removed from the real world, to learn it any other way but through their pocketbooks. Don't bitch when we see this crap happen in any of the major sports in the future.
